Job Summary
Basic Functions : This job is concerned with serving the guests, preparing for service and ensuring that the restaurant and all equipment is maintained as professionally as possible with the highest degree of quality.
Primary Duties / Scope
1. Be able to carry out tasks in an organized and efficient manner to minimize waste and serve the guests as quickly as possible.
2. Be aware of the guests needs and satisfy those needs as quickly as possible.
3. Be aware and use “salesmanship” at all times to help increase the productivity of room service.
4. Perform of the job orientation of new employee to help them to integrate into the room service team.
5. Attend all training and communication meetings.
6. Follow up and put into immediate use all subjects covered during training and communication meetings.
7. Maintain the highest quality possible through effective observation and take the necessary action to ensure correct follow up is accomplished.
8. Communicate all guest comments and complains to the Restaurant Manager / Captain / Supervisor.
9. Communicate politely and clearly with the guests and fellow employees at all times.
10. Follows up any points or directions as quickly as possible with the necessary action.
11. Serves the guests as fast as possible.
