Primary Purpose of the role:

Key Accountability:

• Prepare the daily checklist and follow the SOPs at all times
• Should be fully aware of basic food hygiene standards
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Understand and complies consistently with health factory standard portioning and cooking methods, policies and procedures.
• Portion food products prior and after cooking according to standard portions size and recipe specification
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area.
• Close the kitchen properly and following all closing procedures as per HACCP standards
• Attend all scheduled meetings, and daily briefings and bring suggestions for improvements
• Inform CDP immediately of product shortages
• Perform other duties assigned by the chef on Duty.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel
