- Perform piping, Pressure vessel and rotating inspection
- Perform Pump, compressor, motor coupling alignment checks, and related piping inspection
- Perform coating inspection
- Perform material receiving inspection and maintain material traceability
- Coordinate with NDT service providers, and able to interpret NDT results
- Co-ordinate with the customer and third-party inspectors
- Perform flange management inspection, system line walk, and punch list clearance
- Prepare piping test packs and mark-up P&IDs with test limits.
- Experience in working in an ASME/ISO quality system environment
- Knowledge of national and international standards like ASME. DIN, AWS, etc.
- Knowledge of various coating inspection processes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for inspection activities
Must be familiar with:
- ASME sec-II and B31.3 codes for materials and piping inspection requirements, heat treatments, pressure testing
- Adequate knowledge about various welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW and SAW) and materials
- Knowledge about NDT (RT, PT & MT) methods
