Senior Accountant Job in Sharjah

  • This role will involve in the day to day ACCOUNTING and reporting duties.
  • preparing and delivery of the Invoices, work and sales orders, close it and follow up on Time, on a regularly scheduled and well maintained daily work plan. Receivable and on time collection. Perform the tasks assigned by the accounts manager and coordinate with store keeper.
  • Coordinate with other departments to follow-up projects progress and create collection letters and interim or milestone invoices.
  • Other day to day regular accounts work and other duties as per instruction given by Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely posting of JOURNAL entries
  • Perform daily ACCOUNTING activities
  • Handle ACCOUNTS UP TO finalization including Cash flows, Balance Sheet and INCOME statement.
  • Do Petty Cash payments processing / reconciliations
  • Prepare periodic reports
  • Assist the Head of the Department in ad hoc reports and requests
  • Prepare monthly PAYROLL
  • Maintain fixed ASSET register
  • Assist with preparing the external and INTERNAL AUDIT
  • Reconcile monthly reports to the Company's ACCOUNTS
  • Reconcile annual budgets to the Company's accounts
  • Coordinate the Accounts team activities and SCHEDULES and archives
Qualifications and experience Requirements:
  • Must have minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in accounts up to financial statement reports
  • Should be very fluent in English; Arabic speaking will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Peachtree / QuickBooks or any other similar accounting software.
  • Candidates should be a Graduate holder.
  • CPA/ACCA/CA or an equivalent qualification
  • Candidates on visit visa will be preferred or can join immediately
